Cesuo

The one thing that gets me down here is the toilet situation. The Lonely Planet book uses the phrase "scatological hell" to describe some facilities, and I can vouch for that. This one is not the worst looking we've been faced with, by far. But it was the worst smelling, and this was as close as I ever got. Unfortunately it was the one at our hostel in Tagong, and I had to do some stealth manouvers to find alternatives for a few days. (Thank you to Rob and Tavi for standing guard on these expeditions. No thanks to them for betting on whether I'd manage to use the trench facility in the Kanding bus station. I did, no worries - I'm working through this).
