Trip Within A Trip

Wonderful as Sydney is, tomorrow I am leaving as soon as I drop all my stuff off at my new house. Sydney to Singapore to London to Oslo, then, at the advice of my Scandanavia expert Eric, to Bergen. (Note to Dwayne when I finally send him a link to this: I seriously debated doing it by train just cause the song is in my head). A week later Bergen to Oslo to Stockholm. A week after that Stockholm to London to Shanghai to Guilin. Three more weeks and it's Beijing to Shanghai and back to Sydney. That's more than 60 hours of travel I think. If you don't already know why I'm going all those places stay tuned over the next 5 weeks. And what a fine time to be hanging out at airports, hey? I'm glad that the restrictions through London have eased and I can bring some small carry on (tomorrow though I have 28 hours without contact lens solution). I was pretty stressed last weekend, but now I'm not really thinking about it.

Meanwhile, the past few days here have been lovely. About 70F and sunny. Went surfing at Bondi beach twice. Tuesday was really fun, but even though the waves were *really* tiny Thursday was even better because Rebecca (CMC 3/2 student who is also at UNSW this semester) came too. Definitely more fun with friends.
