31 Hours

In case you ever have to do it, 31 hours of air travel is actually not so bad with three things: noise cancelling headphones (amazing), a really soft neck pillow, and a benadryl (just one, on the 13 hour leg from Singapore to London). I was in a surprisingly good mood the whole time. And things were completely calm at Heathrow at 6am. So glad I wasn't doing this a week earlier!

I got to Bergen Sunday afternoon with no particular expectations - pretty much all of my thinking about this trip beforehand was about the China part. It is beautiful, and in it's Scandanavian way looks to well-kept to be real. It's late enough in the summer that it is doesn't stay light crazy late, but this picture was taken just before 9pm. Monday I went on a day long loop trip that was trains, buses and boats to and around fjords and waterfalls. I'll get pics from that up in the next day. Today I am feeling all this travel and doing nothing. The only item on the agenda is eating seafood and this afternoon taking a short train to Voss where I am going to leave from for kayaking the rest of the week.
