Last Weeks

Eleven days from now (give or take with a dateline crossing) I will be back in Pasadena. That will be a good thing (lots of good stuff planned for August!), but leaving here will not be! Somehow I'm relaxed about it now - not at all like me. I'm just hanging out as usual and not trying to pack in all sorts of things I didn't do. At the beginning of this week I did go to Toowoomba again to see Peter and Janice, and Rod came down from Longreach to say hi/bye. Tomorrow I am having a last big BBQ, with pretty much everyone I know here invited (but only some of them coming - it's definitely cold season; I've made Grandmom's chicken soup for the occasion). I'll get a few more posts up here before the end though - I'll never get tired of sharing pics of the view from my house!
